Amazing Grace

“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened." Matthew 7:7-8

People sometimes say they can get along just fine without God, and instead they put their trust in other things. They put their trust in a job, a spouse, or even themselves.

But what happens when everything that you know, everything that you put your trust in fails you.... what then?

God is always there, and will always be there for you. People say that they can't see God working, that is, until they allow themselves to see it. The Bible says that our eyes are blinded to the goodness of God, until we open our hearts to God, and then (when we give God and open door), He love and mercy changes our lives.

If you begin to look for God, you will find Him. John Newton, the writer of Amazing Grace, was once a rugged, profane speaking sailor, before his eyes were opened to the forgiveness and grace of a loving God.

No matter where you're at, God is ready and willing to meet you where you are at... just give Him a chance!
