Choose Your Words Wisely

"A soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger." Proverbs 15:1

We make a deliberate choice to read our Bible, but in the same way, we also make a choice to be irritated or angry when someone "wrongs us." Anger is something that just comes out, unless we allow it to. We can choose to be angry or we can choose to forgive, in the same way that we choose to eat food. Everything decision that we make, is a deliberate choice that we make. Romans 12:2 says, "Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind." We can either choose to conform to this world and the things that are going on in it, or we can choose to be transformed by the renewing of our minds, which happens by reading the Word of God! It's easy to conform to the pattern of this world, to join in and do what everyone else is doing... but it takes faith in the Lord to allow God to change you from the inside out. It takes faith, to stand up and show His light and love to a world that so desperately needs it!
