Love One Another Above All Else

1 Corinthians 10:23-24 says, "All things are lawful for me, but not all things are helpful; all things are lawful for me, but not all things edify. Let no one seek his own, but each one the other’s well-being."
Paul was showing the kind of love we should have for each other. Paul was saying that in all of our choices, we should have others in mind. Paul was saying that it may be OK for him to each certain foods, but he wouldn't eat them if it meant harming another person's relationship with Christ. Paul was telling us that we should have other's well-being in mind in everything that we do.
Just like Christ, we are not here to be served, but to serve. We are not here to act like royalty and be waited on hand and foot, but instead we should seek to serve other's well-being, loving on them with our words and actions. The everyday choices that we make, should constantly be putting others wants and needs above our own.
To follow the example of Jesus, we should prioritize our lives after what Jesus said in Matthew 22:37-39, was the two greatest commandments, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind'. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’
