Our Strength Just Isn't Enough

In 2 Corinthians 12:9-10, Paul says, "And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

Paul is telling us that, no matter how strong we think we are, we are never truly strong until we rely on God's strength. When we rely on our strength, we will eventually falter. We will eventually get too worn out, too stressed, or things will eventually get too overwhelming for us... BUT with God, all things are possible! Because with God, what we fell like is our weaknesses, then become our strengths. With God, our mourning becomes our dancing. With God our heaviness becomes our praise.

If we give God our messed up life... He takes it, cleans it up, and makes something beautiful out of it!

So today, turn over your burdens and stresses to God to allow Him to turn your weaknesses into strengths. Allow Him to turn your trash into treasure! Have A Blessed Day! Pastor George Finney New Life Church NewLifeKenefick@yahoo.com
